Garden destroyed

Had a bit of a flood last night while I slept. Worst one we have had here.  Running water removed my landscape rocks and then deposited them where the garden used to be.

My soil is just gone.

    I really hate that. I hope your home wasn’t damaged. I feel bad for all your hard work and I know how expensive gardening is. Don’t give up there will be better day’s

    That’s a huge bummer. I have lost a couple plants to the cold weather this spring but nothing like yours. Wishing your garden a speedy recovery!

    Oh no! What the heck is going on with all the crazy weather? We had frost here a month and a half later than the latest usual frost date – after a couple of weeks of summer-like temps. Making it hard to be a gardener. Good luck and so sorry!

    So sorry to see the damage done to your garden! Flooding yards are an ugly thing! Heartbreaking after investing so much time and energy. Sure hope you are able to get it re-established soon, you always do such a wonderful job with your gardening!

    By clicking like does not mean I like what happened to your garden area. I have followed you for a year or so – I know the work and pride that you put into your efforts. An old woman shared a bit of wisdom with me after I experienced a huge disappointment. Her words were, ” This too shall pass!” you know what, it has always held true. Get out the shovel, laugh a bit about it and look at it as an opportunity to “upgrade”.

    That is incredible and shocking. I wish you the best in repairing the damage. I notice that your wood frames for the beds stayed in place – that’s some good construction!

    If only you had used the landscape boulders! Shucks. Time to hire the army of garden gnomes to restore order.
