Want some cheap strawberry plants?

I searched this morning to find out more about a variety of strawberry called Sequoia that another blogger was raving about.

The first web site I came up with is selling them for…well, basically for free. Unless it’s a typo or they charge really outrageous shipping, you are getting a deal.  30 plants for 8 cents each? If I had room I would do it. $25 will buy you 500 of them.  I guess they must be overstocked.

Here’s the link: BloomingBulb.com

It looks like you probably need to act fast.

True, for most of us this is too late in the year, but they should survive and produce well for you next June.

  1. We have wild strawberries here. They are very small, about the size of an acorn, and the plants grow in the ferns along the tree line. The chickens get most of them.
