Making soy sauce at home – future plans

According to this article, the process of making soy sauce at home requires a lengthy sunny period – several months, optimally.  I need to remember to try this beginning in May or June.

  1. That was so interesting. We grew soy beans a couple times before but never had much use for them as they did not produce large enough quantities to make them worth the time, effort, and space required. That said, this would be a great way to make good use a smaller amount of the beans. I would love to try making my own soy sauce from plant to product…perhaps I will. I’m adding it to my “to do” list.
