Remember those detached vines?

They are growing on one end and dying on the other end. It’s kind of comical…

They started in that raised bed in the middle of the photo, at the bottom farthest from the camera. They have sent down new roots along the way, so they’re still photosynthesizing!

All this trouble for one small pumpkin and one waltham butternut squash. I don’t even enjoy squash all that much. When I cook it, I make it a dessert it’s so sweet.

    You should eat the squash with a tiny bit of brown sugar and a little bit of pineapple. It makes me think of my Grandma.
