I heart tomatoes.

I pulled this beauty from the garden Wednesday. We ate it in a now cliché side-dish (but still crazy delicious) with a ball of fresh mozzarella cheese, sweet basil leaves, olive oil, salt and pepper.

  1. Oh – that’s wonderful. That photo just made my day brighter!
And it’s good to hear that your tomato crop is coming in, even if there were some failures.

    • 🙂 Excellent!

Yes, we did end up getting a slow trickle of tomatoes from the garden. Definitely enough to eat fresh most of the time we wanted one and a few pounds to process along with the ones we bought from our local organic farmer Mr. L.

  2. It was shot through the heart. Who’s to blame?
