Rhubarb Vodka part 2

I mentioned that I was making some Rhubarb infused vodka late in April.  This is what it looked like the first day:

This Friday it was ready to taste.  I screened out the fruit chunks from this half gallon jar and ended up with just over a quart of the good stuff.  I forgot to take a picture of the full quart, because we were all so excited to just try it!

The vodka was all:

We really did just sip it.

Highly recommended, but perhaps just once each year. 🙂  We really did just sip it.

    So was the blurry table picture deliberate for the purposes of the joke?

  3. I tend to make a lot of pies and have a bit of experience. Rhubarb either took the bite off the end of the vodka with the “tang” or needed to be weighed down in sugar to be absolutely delicious. Either way, I love your experimentation.
