So far, so good, with the “Florida Basket” variety of tomatoes. The plants are growing well and flowering, but staying pretty small. They need water almost every day already, so I might need to work out a system involving damming my rain gutters, drilling holes and hot-gluing some rubber hose. Or maybe I’ll just remember to water them.

Great idea! I have some of those baskets too… they look so pretty! I’ve never heard of “Florida Basket” tomatoes… are they indeterminate?

No, these are open-pollinated determinates, if I have been told correctly. The description from the catalog I bought the seeds from said:
