Cabin Tomato Blossom – Early May 2010

This past weekend I planted my last 8 or 10 tomato plants. Some of them had been in need of transplanting of any kind for 2 weeks. This one had already flowered. Hopefully the plant isn’t too stunted and will still make me a boatload of yummy “Cabin” tomatoes.

Oh wow is that what they’re supposed to look like??? Mine are just teensy little flowery things.

    • There are probably many different kinds and sizes of tomato blossoms. This variety of tomato grows on a “potato leaf” style plant and could very likely be quite different from yours.

    • Thanks Rachel! We’ll see how this weekend goes. The wind is blowing 25 MPH out there and I had to cover the tomatoes last night for cold. It should get down to 35 again overnight tonight, what a late cold snap!
