I grilled up this platter of a bunch of the last peppers of the fall. I stuffed jalapenos, pepperoncinis, poblanos and sweet green bell peppers with cream cheese and wrapped them with bacon. They turned out very nice this evening. What are you eating from your garden?

What a great idea. I have a handful of jalapenos that are sitting lonely on my counter. I think they are headed to the freezer, as I don’t think I can take the heat of eating them fresh, even if they are filled with cream cheese!

Try this with mild peppers, if you can get ahold of small ones!

We do something similar. We slice them in half, fill them with goat cheese, top with a piece of bacon and a thin slice of cheddar. Put them in the cast iron pan, throw them on the BBQ. So good!

And hooray, cast iron pans!

I love cast iron pans! Have a stack of them in the cupboard.
